myPSN 2.1 submitted to Apple

August 9th, 2009 No comments

Just a small update this time :)

Changes:

  • Fixed memory leak – this will hopefully give those of you with an utterly ridiculous number of contacts a better experience with the app ;)
  • Fixed trophy totals in the compare overview – if you look at the page for a friends trophies you might sometimes find that your total number of trophies for that game hasn’t updated.
  • Added trophy detail screen – some trophies have quite a large description that may not fit in the normal trophy view, this page will let you see all the gory details as well as providing a handy new button…

Could you guys who are having issues with signing in let me know if it has fixed it?

Its been very hard for me to diagnose as I can’t reproduce this problem in my country, just hoping that I got it!

P.S. when you get this update I highly recommend your first sign in is over wifi ;)

New features for myPSN 2.0

July 31st, 2009 1 comment

myPSN 2.0 is still in the approvals process but I thought you might like a quick look at some of the new features that are coming…

Fixed bug stopping countries other than UK/US accessing the app

This one’s fairly self explanatory ;)

Added caching of data

What this means is that there’s no more waiting for a login screen or a grey loading screen before you can start using the app. So as soon as you start it up you can start browsing through all the info!

You will now get a progress bar showing how far you have to go to the next level as shown below.

You can now view your trophies for each of your games and see which ones you have left to collect.

It’s been a long time coming but I’ve finally had time to update myKILLZONE with that all important and often requested statistic – the Kill To Death Ratio. Joining the K:D will be a load more stats ;) and no more annoying adverts – you lot just didn’t click them enough!

July 27th, 2009 2 comments

Last night I submitted an update to Apple that I hope will fix the issues plaguing a few EU users. Being a x.0 release it includes a fair bit more than just a fix however, I will reveal more details in the coming days… ;)

myCoD5 submitted for approval!

July 26th, 2009 No comments

I’m pleased to announce that my latest application, myCoD5 was just submitted to Apple for approval. The app lets you view a shed load of stats for Call of Duty: World at War for both PS3 and Xbox 360 users.

Hopefully it won’t be too long until it’s available but until then, here’s some screenshots:

I’d also like to say thanks to all the guys in the screen shots for helping me test it and the guys who were good enough to test it on the Xbox 360 for me! I’d send you promo codes but they don’t work in the UK :(

myPSN sign-in issues

July 26th, 2009 19 comments

Some users (from what I can tell) outside the UK/US are having issues signing in to their PSN account using myPSN.

I am currently investigating this issue and hope to have an update submitted to Apple in the next few days.

If you’re experiencing these issues and live in the UK or US please leave a comment or contact me via email.
